\"\"Last week I spotted an article that made mention that there were 100 days before Christmas. It feels like a few weeks back that I removed Boney M and Michael Bublé from my phone and now it seems like I need to start looking for the Little Drummer Boy and an endless list of gifts! Whilst listening to popular morning talk host, Bongani Bingwa, he referenced South Africa’s next general election being 100 weeks away and I was struck by the 100’s of things that still need to happen on my to do list before the festive fear turns into festive cheer! But as Bongani would say “asikho lapho” (we\’re not there). At MediaHeads 360 we’ve seen a definite up tick in clients wanting to embrace a mask free Summer season and it is great to see so many brands wanting to be active in the market again. It’s good to welcome a change of season and all the sense of challenge it brings. I also thought it a great time to celebrate some wins. I don’t think we stop often enough to acknowledge the amazing work we do both professionally and personally.

As a team, MediaHeads 360, is so proud of our colleague and creative genius, Mavhuthu Dzege. In the last year we’ve watched Mavs train, sweat, stretch and sprint through the various stages of preparation for the Comrades Marathon. From pre-work 10km’s to post work hill practice, Mavs quietly prepared himself for the ultimate human race. Mavs successfully completed the down run on Sunday the 28th of August and achieved his goal of claiming his medal. As a media maverick, Mavs also managed a TV interview during the race. His passion, focus and determination are a tribute to his efforts in the last year. We’re exceptionally proud of you Mavs!

The change of season also sees MediaHeads 360 move into a new office. True to our payoff line, we’ve “amplified” ourselves to a place where we needed to find a bigger workspace. We have spent the last few months designing a workspace that speaks to a changed working world and embraces the needs of our audio, creative, campaign and administrative staff. We look forward to sharing the space with you as we work on turnkey campaigns, solutions and creative ideas to suit your objectives and requirements. Our investment into MediaHeads 360 HQ is part of our commitment to your campaign, creative and concept. From time, resources and energy, our focus remains on running your content marketing marathon with you.

In writing this, I’ve just ticked one thing off the “100 things to-do list”. I’ve enjoyed thinking about the small wins that we’ve enjoyed in the Winter months and the work we’ve done with our clients. In the next few days as we welcome a change in seasons, I hope that you too will have an opportunity to celebrate the marathon runners on your team and their small victories that get them to cross the line daily.
